Guillermo and Sarit along with their two children, Laura and Isaac, are missionaries with Edutech Mission serving in our Costa Rica office. They have most recently come from Peru, where they had lived for two years before moving to Costa Rica.
Before Edutech Mission, Guillermo and Sarit served for 17 years in the Evangelical Pentecostal Church “Las Acacias” in Caracas, Venezuela. Here they gained valuable ministry experience while coordinating the missions ministry for five years, and were also involved in drafting missionary policies. As part of their preparation into missions, they managed teams that worked to reach Arabs in Caracas, and helped to pastor a church.
Both Guillermo and Sarit have felt the Lord call them to be active participants in missions work throughout the world. They thank God for the experiences they have had in preaching and studying theology which has been fruitful for Edutech Mission. Within the team they work together to manage, implement training for staff and partners, and participate in leadership coaching for other ministries.
They consider their mission as a family to contribute, along with the body of Christ, in the search for the presence of God so that people can be transformed. As a family they have decided to offer their professions, gifts, and talents to the service of the Lord.
Whom have I in heaven but Thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee. My flesh and my heart faileth, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25-26 (KJV)
