What we believe

  1. The divine inspiration of the Bible; that it is inerrant in the original writings, and is of supreme and final authority in faith and practice. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21; John 10:35; Isa. 55:11; 1 Cor. 1:21; Rom. 1:16, Matt. 5:17,18; Jude 3; Eph. 1:17,18; 3:10,18)
  2. One God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (John 10:30, John 14: 10-30, 1 Cor. 13:14, 1 John 5:7-8, Ephesians 4:4-6)
  3. The creation of man in the divine image, man's subsequent fall through sin, resulting in universal guilt and total depravity; and the necessity, therefore, of redemption and restoration. (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 3: 14-19, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2)
  4. The deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, perfect life, redeeming death, bodily resurrection, heavenly intercession, and His personal return. (John 10:30-38, John 14:9-11, Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 2:14-15, Mark 16:5-7, 19, Acts 1:9, John 5:25-29, Revelation 11:19, Matthew 24:27)
  5. The personality of the Holy Spirit by Whose regenerative work sinful man is born again, and by Whose indwelling regenerate man is enabled to live a godly life. (Acts 2:38, John 3:6, Titus 3:5, Romans 10:9-10, John 3:3-7, Romans 8:9, John 14:26)
  6. The bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost. (Daniel 12:2, John 5:28-29, Revelation 20:12-13, Acts 24:15, Matthew 25:31-32)
  7. The spiritual unity of all believers as comprising the true Church, which has the duty to preach the Gospel to every creature. (Romans 12:4-5, 1 Cor. 12:12, Ephesians 4:11-16, Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19)
